Automatic Units Conversion

When loading data from a CSV file into a HydroCAD data entry table, the following units are recognized for automatic numeric conversion.  The exact units name must be enclosed in parenthesis and including in the header row for each column.  Columns without a units parameter are assumed to use the same units as the table into which they are being imported, and are not converted.

Area acres, sq-ft, sf, hectares, sq-meters, sm
Time day, hour, hours, hr, minutes, min, seconds, sec
Velocity fps, ft/sec, m/sec
Flow cfs, cfd, gpm, mgd, mĀ³/s, cms, cmd, l/min, lpm, l/sec, l/s, lps
Weight pounds, kg
